Bloggy Fun

I just got done getting my package ready for Nicole. She's my partner in mamarazzi's favorite things swap. I will be mailing it later today before I pick up Skowt from school.

I had fun shopping and getting it all wrapped up. I hope she likes at least some of what I sent! lol I would like to apologize in advance for my wrapping job. I am sooooo not a wrapper of presents! :) The paper I was using was super thin so I had to wrap it around several times so you couldn't see through it. I look forward to seeing what she is sending!

Speaking of mamarazzi, this month she is starting something fun. She will be doing a monthly drawing out of all of her followers for a cool prize. So head on over and check her out. Make sure you leave a comment when you follow and tell her I sent ya!

SITS Blogathon

The Secret is in the Sauce is having a blogathon today. Everyone is getting together to have fun, spread some comment love and hopefully win some prizes!

I joined SITS back in July as a way to find some blogs to read and possibly meet and connect with other bloggers. Since I joined my Google reader has taken on a life of it's own! I've found some cool blogs to read. Unfortunately, I don't always have to time to comment as much as I'd like....which is the whole point, right? I'm trying to change that. Mainly need to learn to manage my time a little better. I've always had problems with that.

I can't keep up!

Hi, my name is Lynn and I'm a blogaholic.

I love reading blogs. I think I've become addicted!

But I just can't keep up. lol

Currently I am subscribed to 69 blogs in my Google reader and have 260+ unread entries. I'm constantly finding new ones that look interesting and adding them there so I don't forget and can find them again. Problem is, people just keep blogging and don't let me catch up on my reading.

I'm gonna be gone for 10 days in mid August. I can only imagine what my reader is going to look like after that!

New photo blog

I came across a website a few weeks ago called City Daily Photo . It's a community of bloggers who post a photo from in and around their city on a daily basis. It's a pretty cool site, there are people from all over the world participating and it's a way to see these cities through the eyes of those who live there. Since I love taking photos myself, I've decided to start my own blog. Like I don't already have enough to keep me busy! But this will hopefully be something I will enjoy.
